- Most orders ship within two to three business days. Some freight items may take an additional business day due to special handling (no handling charges are added). Some items can extend to 14 business days in rural areas or smaller towns.
- For items shipped via UPS Ground: If there is any damage, visible or not, you have 3 business days to contact us to report the damage. If you do not contact us within 3 days, the merchandise becomes your property and we cannot replace the item or issue a refund.
- For items that are shipped via freight carrier: The freight carrier contracts with us for curbside delivery. If you are not capable of bringing the order inside your house or garage, please make sure you arrange to have someone there to help you with this.
When your order is delivered, please remove the packaging and check for damage BEFORE signing for delivery. If you sign for delivery without inspecting the item, the item becomes your property. If you discover that the item is damaged after signing for delivery, we cannot file a freight claim, replace the item for you or issue a partial refund to compensate for the damage. If the weather makes it impractical to remove the packaging outside, please make sure the driver waits until you move the item to an area where you can remove the packaging and inspect it. If the driver refuses to let you inspect the item, you MUST note this when signing for the delivery. If the item is damaged in any way, refuse the delivery and eMail us immediately at info@solavanity.com to notify us so we can file a freight claim and send out a replacement order.
Please be aware that some products are not stocked: That means when they are ordered, the manufacturer will produce the product and ship it directly to you. This process may take some time, and you will be informed on the time period. If you cannot wait, you have the option to cancel your order before the order is submitted to the manufacturer. After the special order has been submitted, you may not cancel or return the product.
